Your Continuing Education (CE) deadline for CEs due from 2019-2022 was extended to August 31, 2023 (8/31/2023).

You can continue working as a paid caregiver while you complete your CE requirement.

If you do not complete your training by your extended deadline, you will stop getting paid starting on September 1, 2023 (9/1/2023) for the care you give.

More information about your CE deadline:

  • You need to complete 12 CE credits every year.
  • 2019-2022 deadlines were extended due to COVID-19 impacts. Any CEs that you did not complete for these years must be completed by the extended deadline.
  • If your birthday is before August 31, 2023, you also have until August 31, 2023 to complete your 2023 CE requirement.

After August 31, 2023, your annual CE due date is your birthday.

If you had an outstanding CE requirement for 2020 or 2021 and were employed and working between March 1, 2020 and February 28, 2021, you automatically received up to 12 hours of CE credit with the COVID-19 On-the-Job Training (“On-the-Job Training”). Learn more.
