You have a new partner to help you save for retirement — the SEIU 775 Secure Retirement Plan (SRP)!

You are busy caring for your clients and others in your life. That is why joining the plan is stress free.

Your Employer Contributes…You Get the Savings

After 6 months of working as a caregiver, you will get contributions from your employer based on the number of hours you work. The contributions are automatic and purely an added benefit to you. During the 7th or 8th month of working as a caregiver, you will get the welcome letter in the mail containing information on how to create your retirement account and elect a beneficiary.

The money in your account is always yours and, in most cases, will be available to you in monthly installments for retirement when you turn 65 years old.

To see your contributions and manage your beneficiaries, log in to your account directly through Retirement: My Plan.

Don’t forget to create a login for your account on Retirement: My Plan!

Your retirement account is available online, anytime. On Retirement: My Plan you can:

• Choose a beneficiary or beneficiaries.
  • A beneficiary is the person(s) who would receive your death benefit if something happens to you.
• See your balance and monthly contributions.
• Read important Plan documents and account statements

For security reasons, you will be prompted to request a Registration PIN, which will be mailed to you by Milliman. Milliman is the Record Keeper  for the Secure Retirement Plan. After you receive and enter your mailed Registration PIN, you can continue the online account registration process.

About the Secure Retirement Plan

The Secure Retirement Plan (SRP) is the first of its kind in the nation for home care workers. It was created to provide another source of income when you retire, adding to your other retirement income sources like an IRA or Social Security.

Statements and Information

All required documents and important information about your account will be delivered to you by email. This includes notices, disclosures and quarterly statements. You will receive an email when new documents are available on Retirement: My Plan. Each time a required document is posted, it will be available online for 1 year or the date a new version becomes available, whichever comes later. You can always request a paper copy by contacting Milliman, the Plan Record Keeper.
