Training Partnership on White House Aging Conference Panel

On Thursday, April 2, the 2015 White House Conference on Aging hosted a Regional Forum in Seattle, WA to engage with older Americans, their caregivers, advocates, community leaders, and others on the key issues affecting older Americans.

SEIU Healthcare NW Training Partnership and Health Benefits Trust Executive Director Charissa Raynor spoke on the Healthy Aging and Long-Term Services and Support panel with fellow, regional leaders, including: Diane Narasaki of ACRS, Bill Moss of DSHS, Nora Super of the White House Conference on Aging, and Laura Carstensen of Stanford University.

The Seattle Regional Forum provided the opportunity to hear about key issues, such as ensuring retirement security, promoting healthy aging, providing long-term services and supports, and protecting older Americans from financial exploitation, abuse, and neglect.
