Apprenticeship Graduation: Celebrating Student Success
On Friday, Sept. 5, the Training Partnership graduated the second class of Advanced Home Care Aide Apprentices in Washington state. These enthusiastic graduates are the second cohort of Home Care Aides completing a career pathway program in the state. The graduation ceremony featured speakers, including: Home Care Aide Apprenticeship Graduate Glenda Faatoafe, Chesterfield Health Services Founder and President/CEO Stella Ogiale, U.S. Rep. Suzan DelBene, U.S. Rep. Jim McDermott, U.S. Rep. Derek Kilmer, U.S. Rep. Rick Larsen, SEIU 775 President David Rolf, SEIU Healthcare NW Training Partnership Executive Director Charissa Raynor and was emceed by SEIU 775’s Vice President and Organizing Director Sterling Harders. Congratulations to all the graduates and thank you to everyone who attended.
