Course Requirements
- Are available to join a weekly live webinar for six weeks in a row, every Thursday.
- Have regular access to a computer, tablet or smartphone with internet.
- Have no prior meditation experience within the past year.
It is OK if you have tried an app or class.
We are not currently recruiting caregivers already familiar with mindfulness. - Have a quiet space where you can join the webinar and practice mindfulness in an interruption-free space.
You may be asked to close your eyes and meditate. You may not feel comfortable doing that in a public space. - Are tech savvy:
- Can you download & use Zoom meeting to participate in the weekly webinars with limited assistance on setup?
- Are you comfortable downloading and using a free app with limited assistance?
- Are you comfortable completing three surveys online about your stress, depression and anxiety?
These surveys will be anonymous and will help us evaluate the quality of the course.
- Are over 18 years of age.
- Currently working as a Home Care Aide.
- Experiencing some stress.
