About Us
SEIU 775 Benefits Group is the nation’s leading organization dedicated to improving the health, skills, and sustainability of the home care workforce. Leading with innovation and technology, SEIU 775 Benefits Group partners with government, labor and private industries to ensure that Washington home care workers have access to the benefits and skills they need to thrive. Currently, there are more than 50,000 Home Care Aids (HCAs) working in Washington and Montana, of whom approximately 20,000 are enrolled for medical and dental coverage through the Health Benefits Trust (HBT).
SEIU 775 Benefits Group strives to champion innovative health care programs and coverage that improves the health of HCAs so they can deliver high-quality care to their consumers. HBT provides multiple health and wellness benefits including an employee assistance program and Ginger (a virtual behavioral health system) programs serving populations as large as 50,000, and the Caregiver Kicks (an innovative safety shoe program) program that serves 36,000 caregivers.
