Annual Training
Home Care Aide Best Practices: Annual Training
About this Class:
The Home Care Aide Best Practices class is an annual, in-person, continuing education (CE) class that is two hours long.
The skills included in this class are critical for safety, for you and for your client.
This training is not only essential to maintaining and honing your caregiving skills; it’s a great way to get you further along in meeting your CE requirement.
- This class is for caregivers for whom continuing education (CE) is required.
- This training focuses on how to protect yourself and your client from bloodborne pathogens (HIV, HBV, and Hepatitis C, for example), and demonstrates best practices for infection control.
- You’ll earn two credits of continuing education, helping you maintain your certification as a home care aide by providing two of your twelve CE credits.
- This is an in-person training, with two hours of instructor-led time. This style of training gives you hands-on learning and direct interaction with your instructor and your peers.
