You can now enroll in training classes throughout Washington state.

To see courses near you and how to enroll, click or press your required training below:

See your current training deadlines. If you do not finish your training by your deadline, you will not be able to continue working as a paid caregiver.

Basic Training 70 is required training for Standard Home Care Aides (HCAs) who take care of clients both part- or full-time.

HOW TO ENROLL: Individual Providers (IPs) can enroll online in the Caregiver Learning Center on My Benefits. Agency Providers (APs) should contact their employer to learn how to enroll.

You should enroll as soon as possible to continue working as a caregiver. Enrolling now will help you find a date and location that works best for you and allow for time to complete any missed courses before your deadline.

Basic Training 70, v4.0 Updated version of Basic Training 70 available in Seattle and Richland.

Basic Training 30 is required training for Parent Individual Providers, Limited Service and Adult Child Caregivers.

How to Enroll: If you need to start Basic Training 30, you will get an email with instructions to enroll. If you do not see this email and need to complete your training, please call the Member Resource Center (MRC) at 1-866-371-3200 or email mrc@myseiubenefits.org.

If you have completed some Basic Training 30 prior to 2/15/22, but still have some remaining modules, you will be sent an email with instructions on how to finish your training.

Basic Training 30 includes 27 hours of online courses and a 3 and a half hour, in-person Skills Lab class. Below is a list of the available Basic Training 30 Skills Lab classes.

Basic Training 9 is required training for Respite Providers (DDA).

All 9 hours of the training can be completed online. If you need to take Basic Training 9, you will get an email with instructions to enroll.

Basic Training 7 is a 7-hour required training for Parent Individual Providers (DDA). This includes:

  1. 1-hour of independent study.
  2. 6-hours of instructor-led training (2 webinars total).
