As an Instructional Designer, Eimear focuses her energy on designing creative, interactive and memorable elearning classes as part of the Continuing Education Program for Home Care Aides. Originally from Carlingford Lough in Ireland, Eimear began her training career as a Software and ESL Trainer in Dublin in 1999 with the National Training Authority (FAS). In 2003 she branched into instructional design for FAS's apprenticeship training courses. Since arriving in Seattle in 2005, she has worked at Seattle Goodwill, InterConnection and Keelworks. At the SEIU Healthcare NW Training Partnership, she applies her knowledge and skills gained from her Bachelor's in Biology, Higher Diploma in I.T. and most recently her certificate in eLearning Design and Development certificate from University of Washington. Eimear enjoys volunteering for local and international community organizations in need of elearning products and web design. She values family fun times, exploring the many Northwest outdoor parks and the company of diverse friends.
