Nancy has worked on health care issues for the last 20 years with a particular focus on Medicare and Medicaid. In Washington, D.C., she directed the legislative office of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid and moved to Seattle in 1990 to serve as the Regional Administrator for the agency. Most recently she was the executive director of the Alzheimer’s Association for Western and Central WA where she advocated for people and families living with dementia. She worked closely with SEIU 775 to pass Initiative 1029 which helped to launch the Training Partnership. She admits to being a policy wonk and will apply her considerable experience and knowledge to advance the mission of the Training Partnership.
